I am considering adding some sort of adverts here on Jeoberpta, it’d be nice to find a way to make a few extra pennies for just rambling away like I do, because my fiance is sick of listening to me – and it does seem like everyone does it these day, doesn’t it? It’s one thing I have noticed while dropping entrecards the last few days, every blog seems to be monetized in one way or another, does no one just blog for fun any more?

I remember when I started blogging back in the late 1990s (God, how old does that make me sound?), you’d about fall off your seat if you saw any form of adverts on a ‘personal’ site, they were for commercial sites only.

Times change though, and I am more than willing to change with them. I have had success on some of my other sites with running google adsense adverts, so I might give that a go here – though those sites get traffic, I am not sure it’ll be worth it on a site that gets very little. Time will tell.
