So Stacey and Bradley broke up, again. What’s new?
I couldn’t believe my ears a few weeks ago when I realised that Stacey is only meant to be around 18 or 19.
How many 18/19 year olds do you know that have been married, divorced, remarried, had several affairs including one with her husbands father, had one abortion and is already trying again?
Mind you, this is soap land. I must remember that…in soap terms that’s actually a pretty quiet 4 years.
In other tonights Eastenders news…what was with that Ronnie and Christian dance? Were they trying to be ironic? Back story, it’s school reunion time, Ronnie doesn’t want to go because she wasn’t popular school, Christian convinces her to go and pretend he’s her husband, off they pop, song comes on that poor old unpopular Ronnie would never have dared dance to back in the day — cue Christian leading her onto the dance floor for some seriously cheesy and Dirty Dancingesque moves…that everyone else in the place deems fit enough to stand around in a circle clapping and cheering at.
Please.

I have been thinking about this blog over the last few days and realised that I don’t love it, why? Well I already have not one, but two personal blogs, I don’t need a third — when I created the site the idea was to make it more niche, but the niche was going to just come to me in a flash and it never did.
Until today. The new month must have inspired me.
So, Jeoberpta.com is now to become….drum roll please….my TV related blog! I am going to talk about what I watch on TV each day. Now, I am not promising in depth, thought provoking reviews — though they may indeed happen some times, it’ll most likely mainly me having a rant about how stupid todays Neighbours was (and fyi, it was!) and moaning that certain hotties I happen to have a crush on cannot be mine.
But it’ll be interesting. I watch TV from around the world…mainly home grown UK stuff, but also lots of American and Australian shows among others. My main genres are reality, soaps, comedies and documentaries, but I like a bit of everything.
So come along for the ride

I’m such a Jeff Probst fangirl, I got so excited when he kicked off the first challenge then started running to the finishing line — run Jeff run!! I don’t even know why it amused me so much, I guess I just love him as a host and the way he gets stuck in, what a champ.
That Emmy was totally deserved.
Couldn’t believe the picks that Fang made (it’s not just me is it, they all totally pronounce it as ‘thong’?!) at the beginning, you think to yourself that that’s gonna come back and bite them in the behind…and boy it already did. They deserved to lose the first few challenges and I am glad they did — hope it doesn’t continue that way though, it sure gets boring if one tribe dominates so heavily this early on.
I usually hate that the old person, or the fat person get voted out first just because they are old/fat…but in the case I was very happy old lady went home, I found her majorly annoying. I actually thought they were going to go for Dan or Ken and I was going to be left dumbfounded by their choices for the 47575th time already.
Speaking of Ken (gamer), is he some sort of minor celebrity? A bit like the wrestling woman from last season? I see lots of people on youtube comments and coming to my site etc searching for him and saying they are only watching for him!
Overall, great premiere…great to have Survivor back.
Roll on The Amazing Race premiere on Sunday
