And no, I am not talking about my bottom!

Seriously it is super windy the last few days, I was out the other night and could barely walk in it it was so strong — it was also raining and freezing cold and I spent the whole 15 minute walk wishing that I had just stayed home or got a lift or something!

The umbrella I took out with me was completely useless, I had it up for just a few seconds before realising that.

I tried to have my hood up but it wouldn’t stay up for more than a few seconds so I just had to suck it up and get cold and wet!

Thankfully I don’t often suffer with vaginal dryness, but I have done in the past and it’s bloody awful — really it’s the most uncomfortable and awkward issue to have.

Loads of women get it all the time and I feel so bad for them, my friend gets it and spends a fortune on products that are meant to try and help or at least ease the annoyance involved.

Ah no fair, we didn’t get more snow.

It has been snowing hard all over the country all week, including at my friends in Wales and my families who live down in Derby and every where in between — well, every where except here.

The kids have all had a week off school. I just heard on the news that the two main roads between Wales and England are totally shut now — but we have not had a drop since the wee hours of Tuesday morning.

I can’t really complain as we did get a lot of snow, it snowed non stop for almost 48 hours and was the deepest I have seen it in years, it’s all still around now. But I can’t help being jealous, I do love the snow

Yay, it’s snowing…it’s snowing hard!

It is crazy though how in the UK it brings us to a standstill. Not heard any thing other than people going on about it on the news all day and apparently only 1 out of every 3 people has not made it in to work today!

They say that there is another foot or so to come. Fingers crossed, I love the snow

I can’t believe it’s 2009 already, my how time flies. It doesn’t seem like 5 minutes ago it was turning 2000!

We went out to the local pub with some friends, watched some fireworks and then came home and have been playing N64 since. Nothing like a bit of retro gaming to bring in the new year.

Who likes summer? Most people right? Especially in the UK where we don’t actually get much of a summer so as soon as Mr Sunshine pops out from behind the clouds every one acts like it’s suddenly scorchio and gets the sandals out.

Well not me, NO, I don’t like summer…in fact I hate it. I hate the heat. I hate the stuffyness. I hate having to wear sandals and strappy tops. I hate the hay fever. I hate how boring it is.

Give me winter any day, you never know what you are going to get with winter…wind, snow, rain, hail, thunder, lightening — it’s all going on in the winter months.

Plus I like wearing scarfs and gloves, so there.
