One thing that I like to do on my blogs, not just here at Jeoberpta, but on all of my blogs…is include images in my posts — I think visuals always help and they add a certain style to a blog post.

What I usually do is write a post, then think about what picture would look nice and fit in with it, then I start searching free photo sites and google image search and the like — once I find one I like I have to check I am allowed to use it, save it, resize it, upload it and insert it. It’s a bit of a hassle.

So, was I ever glad to come across AcoBox.com a few days ago! They offer free blog pictures, but what makes it so great is that I don’t have to worry about checking if I am allowed to use the image or not — if it’s on the site it’s OK to use. I also don’t have to save it and upload it before use as they host it for me and should it need resizing, I don’t even have to do that manually as it can all be done on site.

They just took all of the hassle of adding blog pictures to posts. Hurrah.

I got some neon flowers, who knew you could get neon flowers? they are awesome!! It took me a few days until the water turned neon pink to realise they weren’t perhaps completely Au Naturale and perhaps a little dye was involved, but they still rawk!!

Do any of you guys use NETeller? They are thieving pieces of scum as far as I am concerned! I had to register with them in order to cashout my bingo winnings on one of the sites I won on, at the time I thought to myself how dubious I was about it and wished the site offered cashout by BACS, or cheque or even paypal instead - all things I know how to use and am comfortable with etc. Well, eventually after having to go through a billion stages and security checks, the bingo site sent me the £50, then I get an email from NETeller informing me my account is blocked and I need to give them my phone number so they can call me, grrrr, I have emailed them twice now with my number and they have not called (and you guys know how I feel about phone calls, it’s been making me sick to my stomach every time my phone has rang over the last week!). So looks like they just plan on keeping my money indefinitely. Bastards.

As I have already said, I am but a creature of the night who doesn’t keep the usual hours. I also work from home, and my fiance works lates so it works out well for us. I am going to tell you about an average day in the life of the Viki.

Get up around 2pm, make myself a cup of tea and maybe get some breakfast - I hate getting up, absolutely the worst part of the day. I have to literally drag myself outta my pit.

I get dressed…or….ok no I don’t, I just stay in my PJs and hop straight on the computer to start work. I mean to get dressed, but usually a few hours pass before I actually do it.

I work until around 5pm when I break off for my tea - I have the same thing every day, a chicken tikka and salad sandwich, YUM. This is also when the fiance starts work so I wave him off on his way.

I will then watch television or go out for a few hours.

At 8pm I hop on my elliptical for around 45 minutes 5 nights a week, the other 2 nights I go out to the pub or cinema at around that time.

I then go back home, watch television for a while, have something to eat (usually a bowl of rice krispies).

The fiance arrives home at 11pm and he then cooks us our tea, I’d cook it but I have no abilities in the kitchen..other than doing the washing up. We chat and watch television for a while.

At around 2am I head back to the computer where I start my second job. I finish at 5am. I spend an hour or so doing my own thing online and then head to bed for the day.

That’s about it.

So, now you know about me - my hobbies and interests and other sites, you know about my fiance and you know I like fireworks. So now you are dying to see what I look like, I know you are - don’t try and deny it…you’ve barely been able to sleep lately with thinking about it, ‘What does that Viki chick look like?’

Well hello there and welcome to my new weblog, one of several I own and run. What can I say, I love to chatter away — my fiance gets bored of me talking to him all the time about every mico event in my life so I have to have that outlet somewhere, right?

A little about your hostess — aka me — My name is Victoria, but no one calls me that and lives to tell the tale, except for my mother when I’ve been a naughty naughty girl. Please call me Viki, or by my Internet alias, Starlet. I am 28 years old, but probably look and act a lot younger. My birthday is March 20th and I am a Pisces, though I am not sure why I told you that as I pay no attention to astrology.

I am getting married in the near future, though no date is set. My fiance and I have been together for 5 and a half years and we have known each other since 1999. We met on the Internet — before it was cool and normal to do such things.

I live in the UK.

I am a night owl, I love living my life while everyone else is sleeping. Going to the supermarket at 2am to do the weekly shop is the bomb.

I am employed as a…well…it’s kinda complicated to explain, but let’s just say I earn my daily bread online - and no, contrary to what 99% of people assume when I say that, I am not a porn star.

And that’s all I am willing to share with you right now, we don’t know each other well enough yet to be more personal…but hopefully that will change soon

Oh no, I only went and got another domain…another one, I just can’t stop, I have the domain bug!

I remember when I used to run two sites and people would say they had several and I’d wonder how on earth they would want to, or even could run so many. Crazy people. Now I am one of the crazy people.

Why Jeoberpta? I just love how it sounds…I love inventing words that aren’t actually words, but just sound nice. I think I scored a 9.5/10 for this one.

I plan on this being a personal blog to start off with by to eventually head into a niche — I am just yet to decide what that niche will be, I am hoping it will come to me eventually
