I am annoyed with my ISP at the moment, they sent an email a few days ago to say that they were doing some technical stuff that was well over my head — what I took from the email though was that users would not be affected at all and they were simply letting us know.
Yeah right.
I still don’t understand the changes, but ever since my speed has been ridiculously slow — to the point at the moment where I actually can’t do much of any thing because pages take so long to load they are just leading to timed out pages.
People on the Think Broadband forums are up in arms about it, so I know it’s not just me.
Fingers crossed these are just some teething problems and normal service will soon resume.

One thing that I like to do on my blogs, not just here at Jeoberpta, but on all of my blogs…is include images in my posts — I think visuals always help and they add a certain style to a blog post.
What I usually do is write a post, then think about what picture would look nice and fit in with it, then I start searching free photo sites and google image search and the like — once I find one I like I have to check I am allowed to use it, save it, resize it, upload it and insert it. It’s a bit of a hassle.
So, was I ever glad to come across AcoBox.com a few days ago! They offer free blog pictures, but what makes it so great is that I don’t have to worry about checking if I am allowed to use the image or not — if it’s on the site it’s OK to use. I also don’t have to save it and upload it before use as they host it for me and should it need resizing, I don’t even have to do that manually as it can all be done on site.
They just took all of the hassle of adding blog pictures to posts. Hurrah.

I love to play online bingo, it’s a lot of fun and of course it’s an added bonus when you win.
A few years ago I would have thought of playing bingo as ‘sad’, something that older ladies and overly loud women would do — but that’s all changed now, with so many online bingo sites in the UK. Bingo is fun, it’s young, it’s cool!
I don’t get into the chatting too much, I’ve never been much of a chatter, but I do enjoy the ‘Chat Games’ that most bingo sites seem to have — where the staff play little side games with you where you can earn bonus money to play with.
At BingoSuperMarket.com you can learn about all the Best bingo online — the site is a portal to 100s of bingo related sites online so you can see which is the right site to play bingo online for you! They offer news and reviews of all things online bingo as well as have a directory of all the best sites, including available bonuses and coupon codes and the like.
It’s definitely a useful resource for us bingo fans, especially with lots of cold winter nights of staying home at night on the way!
Enjoy.

Speaking of mobiles, I have just seen another great feature from the guys at Pepperjam — is there any form of online marketing these guys don’t dominate in? As well as SEO tools, Email marketing and a great affiliate network they also offer a mobile marketing services at Pepperjam Mobile where their industry leading technology helps to build, manage and deploy mobile marketing campaigns big and small.
Interestingly mobile marketing is currently the fastest growing form of marketing, this doesn’t surprise me in the least — if I had to start up a mobile marketing campaign I wouldn’t even know where to begin and I imagine it’s the same for most people. So I would definitely need to employ the services of some experts in the field like Pepperjam

…because I won a Wii, Oh happy days.
I imagine that I will be playing that like a crasy lady over the next few weeks. I have De Blob for it and plan on borrowing a few other games from my fiance and my brother.
Having said that this blog hasn’t exactly been filled with content since I changed direction with it and turned it into my television opinion blog, which is strange because I do watch a lot of TV and I do love to rant about it!
I must try harder.

My day. Got up and spent 4 and a half hours online trying to restore my reality tv site that I had to switch to a new host. I still have some things to do there, and although I can access it I don’t think any one else can yet — it’s caused me lots of stress so far, and it aint over yet. I don’t even know if it’s going to be staying where it is now so I might have to move it again, nnnooooooooooooooo.
I made myself a ‘I don’t know how to cook’ style Sunday roast for one because the other half was out. This comprised of instant gravy, a microwaved chicken pie, tinned green beans and tinned potatoes.
Then I went to the gym and did some running on my elliptical, I didn’t enjoy it because I am full of cold and must be all congested because I could really feel my chest burning/hurting. I still stuck with it for 50 minutes though, yay me.
I just watched a few hours of TV. The Amazing Race Asia and Strictly Come Dancing.
And now I am going straight back to working on my sites. Curse you, Dreamhost.com.

Ponder this, you find yourself alone and stranded on a desert island…you have nothing but the clothes on your back and a laptop, it got a little wet and now will only allow you to visit three websites, and use three programs. What do you chose, and why?
Mine would be:
Websites –
Youtube – Obvious reasons, you can watch whole TV series and have endless hours of fun…plus make friends and interact with people to keep you from getting lonely.
Mininova – So I can download the updates for my three chosen programs, and watch any TV show or film I ever want to.
Wikipedia – Lots of free time, so you could learn every thing in the world ever. Plus you’d be able to find out if you just ate poisonous berries or something.
Programs –
Azureus – So that I can download the .torrents I get from Mininova.
Windows Media Player – So I can watch said downloaded torrents.
MSN – So that I can keep in touch with my loved ones, and make new friends galore.
