I needed to get some lightning fast life insurance quotes earlier because my mum had asked me ages ago to look into it for her and I said I would, she reminded me just as she was setting off to come around here today and I knew that it would take her about 20 minutes. It amazes me how many people who work in construction and similar fields don’t use the proper fall protection equipment - this stuff saves lives! One of my favourite trash TV shows is ‘The worlds most amazing videos’ but it’d be nothing without these idiots who do stupid things without the necessary safety stuff! There are some lunatics in this world hey?

I am using online storage services more and more these days, after the big incident I had last month when I lost a bunch of really important files that I could not get back

Now I back things up in as many places as possbile, as often as possible.

You see people saying it all the time but don’t really pay attention, at least I didn’t. But now I am one of those people saying “BACK IT UP, DUMMY!”.

I think I am going to have to buy some wrinkle cream soon, I am only 29 years old but a couple of weeks ago I discovered my first grey hair and they’ve been popping up plenty since then! Argh. Was I stupid to think that your hair grew grey rather than turned grey? Cos mine is certaining turning grey. Sad times.

I learned a very important lesson a few weeks ago about the importance of backing up your files, I now use various online backup services to make sure that it never happens again.

I lost years and years worth of work because I did something stupid when I was half asleep — one click was all it took to destroy it all.

Now I back up my back ups lol

They weren’t too expensive either which is great because I am pretty broke at the moment and don’t want to be spending my hard earned money on ‘boring’ items like water filers

While we are getting the Kohler faucets in the bathroom replaced at the weekend we are going to look for a new sofabed in Ikea as well — we need one for when we have guests staying over because the air bed we bought frankly just doesn’t cut it, it’s really uncomfortable and tends to deflate before the night is out, we can’t expect people to actually use it!

I have just added to my site to a few paid web directories, something I have never done before - I usually just stick to free directories but I have a site that I want to get out there and grow super fast so I am willing to give the paid directories a chance to see if they help speed things up. It’ll be an interesting experiment for me if nothing else.
