Ah no fair, we didn’t get more snow.
It has been snowing hard all over the country all week, including at my friends in Wales and my families who live down in Derby and every where in between — well, every where except here.
The kids have all had a week off school. I just heard on the news that the two main roads between Wales and England are totally shut now — but we have not had a drop since the wee hours of Tuesday morning.
I can’t really complain as we did get a lot of snow, it snowed non stop for almost 48 hours and was the deepest I have seen it in years, it’s all still around now. But I can’t help being jealous, I do love the snow

I have been looking at weight loss products recently, because I am hoping to find something to give my body a little helping hand! I am not talking about ‘miracle’ diet pills, just something natural that might help.
I already drink green tea and have been eating a lot of spicy food trying to boost my metabolism.
I am just so close to my next mini goal of being under 11 stone and out of the obese category, but can’t quite get there — in the last few weeks I have been 11 – 11.2 and every thing in between…but never 10 stone 13 pounds and 3 quarters or less. Argh.
Come on body!

I am not into sports really, in fact I am not into sports at all — I used to play netball at school but that was about it. So when it comes to giving gifts it never really crosses my mind to give sports gifts! Thinking about it, I really should because just because I don’t like sports doesn’t mean my loved ones don’t — my dad and brother are mad about football, my fiance is snooker crazy and my best friend loves every sporting activity there is.

That’s what they just said on the news, happy days. There’s still loads of snow about from Sunday/Monday so hopefully if it starts again it will all pile on and look awesome.
I think it is mainly going to be down south and up north though, snowing every where around me but not actually on me. That would make me very very sad haha.
They say that as much as another foot is likely to fall as of tonight, and trust me if it does I will be back out and playing in it like the big kid that I am

I have been searching online for luxury watches a lot recently because I was going to get my fiance one for valentines day, I have left it too late now though so I am going to get him one for his birthday in July instead. As it is a big one, his 30th, I want to get him a really nice one — so it’s probably a good job I left it too late for Valentines Day, now I can save up a little bit for it

I have been designing websites now for a long time, I think that I created my very first page back on Geocities — it used frames, had a dancing elmo on it and was covered in animated GIFs. I thought it was the coolest website ever, how funny.
I have not actually done very much web design in recent years though. With so many free wordpress themes out there, and the majority of my blogs running wordpress, it is very easy to get lazy and that is exactly what I have done. Free themes are all well and good for sites like mine, but hardly professional for people who are more series about their sites/businesses, having a unique design is surely a must?
Q-Industries is a web design company that offer stunning design work, web marketing as well as other web development services. I have just been looking through their portfolio of work available to view on the website and I am very impressed. I could see them doing a really great job on my boss’ business site — it was designed by a friend of his and is currently ‘passable’ at best. I keep telling him he should get some professionals in to really make the site stand out, but he doesn’t pay much attention to me apparently.

A few weeks ago now I took out a free 90 day trial DVD rental from Tesco, when I signed up I signed up for the wrong package — I couldn’t rent Wii games as well and that was the main thing I wanted. So I added them…and a few days later realised they had cancelled my free trial and charged me the full £18 for a one month service — booooo.
It took several emails with me complaining, but eventually today I won the battle and they agreed to refund the charge. So a happy ending, but an annoying time.
So far I have rented a few DVDs for the parents. Sonic, Crash of the Titans and Worms — I only really liked Crash of the Titans out of those. They just emailed to say that Raving Rabbids is the next one on the way — yay I am looking forward to this
That, along with My Fitness Coach are the ones I want the most!

My family should know by now that I am the online bargains expert, I run a bargain website and spend a good portion of my days on certain well known bargain websites. I also know all the best places to get voucher codes and where to go to get cashback and rebates on pretty much every thing — from car insurance to eyeglasses.
Yet still my mum goes out and buys things without talking to me about it first. She says that she doesn’t like to bother me, but I wish she would because it causes me actual distress when I see people paying way more than they have to for things.
She recently got some new prescription glasses that cost her a rather whopping £180. If she’d just asked I would have told her about Optical4less.com where you can get top quality ones for as little as $15 — that’s about £10 at the current exchange rate — quite the difference for the exact same product huh?
I think I would have had to sell her on the quality, Optical4Less’ prices are so cheap that I think they shoot themselves in the foot a little because people assume cheap = rubbish. But at just $15 it is surely worth taking the chance? Everyone I know who has used them has been perfectly happy

…just a few weeks to go before I move now, hence the lack of blogging (bad me *hand slap*). This means I finally get to start ordering some of the things we need for the place. I have already ordered most of the small kitchen needs, like the diner set, cutlery and can openers.
I have ordered two gorgeous bed side tables that go with the fitted wardrobe that is already there and I have got 2 floor standing lamps for the living room. Now I am on the look out for a nice discount table lamp to go on the bedside tables and some cushions for the sofa (which my parents are very generously buying us
)

I love me some Celebrity News, I am a complete sucker for it though I tend not to tell people that, as I think it’s kinda lame. Why do I care whose been seen out with who and what someone was wearing?
I used to work in a newsagents so I got to sit and read all the gossip mags and daily rags for free — now I have to pay if I want them, boo.
I tend to get a lot of my news online now from sites like Clearwire, they don’t just have celebrity news but also Digital Music News and more.
