There was a thread on my forums recently about our nail care routine and my friends were surprised to hear that I have not left the house without my nails painted since I was around 13 years old — that’s about 16 years!
My style has changed a lot, back when I was at school I used to keep my nails ridiculously long and the painting was all about crazy colours and funky designs. Now I keep them a nice medium length, squared and either red/pink coloured or with white tips — much more mature and classy.
I have always had good nails, they are strong and grow fast…and despite years of wearing nail varnish and smoking…they aren’t discoloured at all.
Not every one is so lucky though with their nails, some of my friends were complaining in said thread that their nails take months and months to grow, break easily and are all brittle.
I will have to direct them to Hello-Gorgeous.com to check out their rejuvacote nail growth system which is currently on sale at $9.75! It says it can cure and heal bad nails in is little as a few weeks time. At that price it’s got to be worth a go, doesn’t it?

Boo. Spit. Hiss at the economy — my favourite place to buy cheap shoes is the next UK store to go under
Priceless shoes is awesome because they are so cheap and have so many sales it makes your head spin.
I get pretty much all of my shoes, slippers, scarves and bags from them.
I can only hope that they have a killer sell off and I can pick up the next 5 years worth of shoes for a fiver hehe

One thing we have not yet worked out about the move is how we are going to transfer my stuff down there, my initial thought was that we could just take things a little at a time while we are travelling back and forth over the next few weeks any way, but I didn’t think about where we would then store my stuff until move in date!
Thankfully I just discovered moving pods and that pretty much sorts out that little dilemma — we can take the stuff as planned and then simply throw it in a weather proof storage shed in the back garden for a few weeks

Oooh look, little old Jeoberpta now has a page rank 1 — how lovely. I love having page rank on my domains because it lets you know that you are doing something right and that your effort is paying off and your site is becoming more popular.
I used to have two page rank 5 sites a few years ago but I stupidly let them die out, now the highest that I have is a page rank 3.
I enjoy watching the ebb and flow on all my sites

…make sure you know the people you are paying are good at their job.
I consider myself an average web designer, meaning that I understand HTML and CSS, can use Paint Shop Pro to create graphics and am capable of designing a basic website suitable for use on a personal blog or basic site — but when it comes to professional, more creative web design, or something that would be used for a business site, I’d definitely not be confident enough that I could pull something decent off.
Last year my other half’s boss asked me to design his website, I explained that I didn’t feel confident enough to do it, so he asked another friend instead who is actually qualified — he paid him £300 for the design and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I first saw it, it looked like it took an hour at most and was easily something I could have done. It used deprecated code, was littered with spelling and grammar errors and didn’t even work correctly in all browsers — and most importantly looked average at best.
If you are going to use a web design company make sure you look for a trusted name in the web design field. A site that will create 100% original, unique and custom templates for professional sites is essential. Also make sure you can view their portfolio online to see the work they have previously done — it must be of a very high standard and well worth the money they are asking.

I have been happy with my ISP for a few years now, and a part from a few hiccups last week that annoyed me I still am happy with them, but I have been lured away by a bargain — I just can’t resist them can I?
It costs just £9.79 per month, which is already less than half of what I am paying now — but that’s not where it ends, they have a promotion on at the moment where you get your first 3 months free.
So 9 x 9.79 = £88.11. Compared to the 12 x £19.99 = 239.88 I am paying now I am sure you can see why I was tempted.
But still that’s not it, until the end of the month Quidco, a cashback site I use, are offering a whopping £70 cashback on all new sign ups making the total for a year of upto 20mb speed and unlimited download broadband just £18.11 — less than one month on my current ISP.
Crazy, huh?
Like I say I am not moving because I am unhappy with my host, so lets just hope I don’t live to regret moving for a bargain!

I have been taking some pills lately to help me with my weight loss, which pretty much ground to a halt at the end of last year. No, not diet pills, you guys know that they are not my thing — but vitamin C effervescent tablets, Berocca to be exact. I got a free sample of them a few months ago that I kept meaning to take but didn’t get around to.
To be honest I don’t feel much different after almost a week on them, but my weight loss has sped up again so I am definitely not going to stop taking them — not just yet any way!

I am annoyed with my ISP at the moment, they sent an email a few days ago to say that they were doing some technical stuff that was well over my head — what I took from the email though was that users would not be affected at all and they were simply letting us know.
Yeah right.
I still don’t understand the changes, but ever since my speed has been ridiculously slow — to the point at the moment where I actually can’t do much of any thing because pages take so long to load they are just leading to timed out pages.
People on the Think Broadband forums are up in arms about it, so I know it’s not just me.
Fingers crossed these are just some teething problems and normal service will soon resume.

I like to give to charity when I can, unfortunately it isn’t as often as I would like because I don’t have too much money going spare — I tend to find that I offer my time and services more often than actually giving money, it’s something that I really feel every one should do if they can.
I am sure that every one can spare a little time and has at least one cause that they care about. Every one knows someone who has been affected by something that has charities available to donate to.
Most of my charity goes to cerebral palsy and Cancer trusts as I have been affected in my life by both.

As you know from my last post, I love my shoes!
I don’t spend a fortune on them though, I can’t really afford to be buying designer every month like some lucky women out there.
That entire package full of shoes pictured below only cost me £25 including delivery, that wouldn’t even buy me the killer heel off a gorgeous pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes though hey?
