When I win the lottery and move into my dream house, it is going to have a swimming pool, a snooker room for the fiance, a gym and a home theater so that I can sit and watch all my favourite reality shows on the big screen. It will have swanky decor, drinks and popcorn machines and the most comfortable home theater seating money can buy.
Now I just need to start buying lottery tickets, heehee.

What a let down they were, you can usually rely on the Christmas soaps to provide some decent viewing…but what did we get this year?
Victoria falls through some ice. Maria throws some paint on Tonys car. Susie leaves the square.
Big whoop.
I suppose the ‘Sean is not the daddy’ storyline was OK but how predictable, Sean wakes up and announces he’s so happy and it’s going to be the best Christmas ever and you know it’s all about to go Pete Tong.
Stupidest moments? Sean randomly asking Jack if he is the daddy, because he just happened to be there at that point…and what do you know, Jack is the daddy and Sean works this out from his reaction. Duurrrr.
Also the fact that five people were quite happy to be running around and jumping on the frozen lake in Emmerdale, but then suddenly when Victoria threw the necklace on it everyone was freaking out and calling her an idiot and crawling along the ice to try and get it back!
Over all the Christmas soaps this year only score a 5/10!

I was looking at tv stands the other day because I just got a new TV, I say new…it’s actually a really old hand me down from my parents, but it’s new to me. I have gone from a 15 inch one to a 32 inch one and I definitely need somewhere to put it as it’s currently teetering on something that is really far too small to hold it.
They are rather expensive though, so I am going to keep my eye on the sales and hope I can pick one up real cheap

My fiance has to get his car MOT done in January, as well as getting it taxed and insured for the year — ugh — expensive
He warned me earlier in the month I wouldn’t be getting too much for Christmas this year because he needed to save his pennies, that’s OK with me as I am not greedy — but I still searched to try and find him some cheap auto insurance because I know he struggles financially at the beginning of the year.

When did Family Guy become so dismal? It certainly wasn’t recently, but it was only watching tonight’s that I realised just how crap it really has become.
I remember when the humour was clever, genuinely controversial and interesting. Now it’s just repetitive, trying too hard to be controversial and very base. Shame.
You know what the bigger shame is though? I’ll probably continue to watch it, it’s one of my televisual flaws…once I start watching a show I tend to stick with it. Even when I don’t like it any more.
What’s wrong with me?

The Biggest Loser is definitely one of my favourite reality shows, though you know my views on the recently ended season of The Biggest Loser USA — what an awful bunch of people they got! But I am super excited for the upcoming Australian version which is on 6 nights a week and the return of Britain’s Biggest Loser which will follow the same format but be a couples version like the last few USA ones.
I always think that they should cover things related to diet pills though, I’d guess they would try and discourage people from using them but it’d be good for them to go into reasons and specifics about certain types of pills such as Fentraphen.

I considered getting my parents ipods for Christmas this year, they both use awful ancient old generic MP3 players that are a nightmare. My mums only holds about two albums before it’s full — but they both use them all the time when they go walking and such so I really think they’d appreciate an ipod.
I was keeping my eyes out for a hot deal on them, but before I knew it it was three days before Christmas and I had run out of time!
Maybe if I can afford it and can pick them up cheap in the January sales I will get them one any way

There’s nothing I like more than a good old sale, I love bargains so much that I even run a bargains blog where I post vouchers and tips.
I always think that the reality tv world is missing a bargain themed reality show, they have every thing else, why not that? I think ‘Bargain Crazy’ would be a great name for it!
Most seasons of The Apprentice have a challenge that involves the teams getting the best prices on several items, that’s always my favourite challenge

Neighbours was cracking me up last week. Along with an updated title sequence that gives away several future story lines (You put Toadie with Callum and Nicola…we know it doesn’t work out with him and Steph, duh!), we were introduced to a new set — The Gym — nothing funny about that, what is funny is the amount of times it got used.
On Friday Libby was there on three separate occasions in just one episode. Suddenly and inexplicably the students of Erinsborough High have started having their PE classes there. Bridget got a job there, which is a great excuse to have Steve, Miranda and Declan popping along every five minutes and I am sure that Dan actually lives there.
Ok Ok we get that it cost you money to build a new set, but come on now, I am already sick of the sight of it!

Do you enjoying playing online games? I do, Bingo is my favourite because it’s so mindless — just buy your tickets and sit back and wait and see what happens. I also like roulette for similar reasons.
When I feel like using my brain a little more though then I like to play Poker, though I am very much a poker newbie with a whole lot to learn about the game. I know the basics currently and that’s about it. I need to learn all the terms such at Low Limit Holdem, I need to learn all of the different variations on the game and I definitely need to learn some new strategies.
At LowLimitHoldem.com I can learn all of that, they are a well known poker strategy site that offer a whole world of information on every thing about the game — including links to other resources, books, places you can practice your game and the best places to play your first paid games.
I have just bookmarked it and when I have some time over the Christmas period I am going to start working my way through it
