Ring Ring, Ring Ring, Ring Ring

As someone who doesn’t like using the phone any way, I have to wonder…how on earth did people survive before mobiles and caller display? I never, and I mean never answer the phone unless I know who is calling me. This actually saved my mum from getting scammed a few weeks ago, a number kept on calling the landline but I didn’t recognise it so did a search via a Phone Number Lookup service online and it turned out it was some company pretending to be from BidTV asking for pin numbers. Sneaky. I told my mum about it and not to answer, or to tell them she was calling the police if they called again…and that’s exactly what she did the next day when they tried it again.

Thank the heck for the Internet and sites like NationWidePhoneLookup.com, hey?

Back in business

Looks like I will still have plenty of time to watch TV because the Wii I won won’t be arriving for 6 - 8 weeks, aww. I thought it might take a few weeks to get here but wasn’t expecting it to take that long, I am very disappointed.

I am also back home now, back to normality…so normal TV ramblings should begin to flow here as usual again. I know you are excited about that :)

Play Taikai at Betfair

I love betfair, I have posted about them before and now they have launched Taikai so I am doing it again :)
What is Taikai? It’s a sports prediction game that allows you to play against others and pit your knowledge against theirs. You enter tournaments and the person with the best overall record at the end is named the winner. It sounds like a lot of fun, plus you can play for real money or play in the Freerolls. Plus as an added bonus at the moment if you enter code TAK001 when you register you’ll get £10 free when you have played in 3 money tournaments. You can learn more about the game on the Taikai homepage.

To play you need to Sign Up Taikai and away you go, enjoy.

Eastenders - Whodunit?

So, who was it exactly that ran over Max Branning and left him for dead?

Who cares!

This storyline has been done to death already, and not just in serial ‘Whodunit’ offender Eastenders. It’s not new, it’s not exciting, it’s not different and it’s not clever.

On top of that add the fact that Max Branning is a completely unlikeable character who garners no sympathy. Every one who is in the frame had rhyme, reason and motive to want him dead and the only question I have is — Why couldn’t they have succeeded?

I will be glad when this storyline is over and done with.
